Kim Smith
Kim Smith is a facilitator who works in the areas of individual and organizational transformation. She specializes in experiential education programs that facilitate trust building, open communication, risk taking, and team building.
Kim has 20+ years experience in the area of experiential education and has worked with Pecos River Learning Centers, The Hurricane Island Outward Bound School and Common Ground Consulting. She is qualified as a facilitator, team leader and high ropes course director. Kim's current and past clients include AT&T, Ford, IDS, Young Presidents Association, Motorola, Steelcase, Kodak, Kraft, Phillip Morris, Hewlett Packard, Midwest Energy, and Baxter Health Care. She has a degree in Biology and Environmental Education from Western Washington University and a Masters Degree from Western Michigan University, and has received much of her education through world travel and her contemplative practices.
Kim is an avid outdoors woman, gardener, and sailor. She is nationally certified in Emergency Medicine as well as in Conflict Resolution. She lives with her family and two dogs on Long Lake outside Kalamazoo, Michigan.
