A Leader Forum might last from three to eight hours,
based on need. A typical agenda might look like the following:
 |
Introduction and purpose for the forum presented
by the team leader, including tone setting. |
 |
Check-in and optionally, an experiential work simulation. |
 |
Reflections and acknowledgment: Recognition of people
who have performed exceptionally or offered their support for others. |
 |
Communication update: What's the latest organization
or team news to share? |
 |
Alignment on strategy: Assisting a team to focus
together on their current business strategy, tactics, plans, initiatives
or any current need. |
 |
Dialogue on burning issues: Practice having effective
conversations about opportunities at work and solving common problems. |
 |
Development of new people skills related to leadership,
teams, work process and culture: Introduction of new models for
people effectiveness and conversation about the current organization. |
 |
Check-out and audit: Definition of the action path
forward, an audit of the session and a chance for the participants
to share their thoughts as they leave. |
