Will Ellis, Ph.D.Will Ellis is the President and founder of Common Ground Consulting. He works with leaders, their teams, and entire organizations to create change. Will is a coach who assists people build innovative cultures and customer experiences. Will uses Learning Forums, a long-term process that helps clients maintain a common direction and develop people — to connect people growth with results. His clients can measure their success, both in their cultures as well as their bottom lines. Will works in long-standing relationships with only a few clients at any time. He coaches a variety of organizations from start-ups and small family businesses to Fortune 100 companies. His customers come from diverse industries and include Air International, Daimler Trucks, Digitas, D&M Holdings, HCR ManorCare, IPC Print Services, McLaren Health Care, Modine Manufacturing, Nosco, Tower Automotive, and Visteon. Will received a masters degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University and then his doctorate from West Virginia University. He began his career in 1974 as a trainer in the Executive Education program at the University of Michigan. Will also works with clients to give back in a variety of community service settings including Habitat for Humanity, Focus:HOPE, The Coalition for Temporary Shelters (COTS), Lula Belle Stewart Center and the University of Michigan’s Summer Science Academy. Will recently published two books, Finding Personal Balance, written to serve as a guide to stress reduction for busy people, and Starting Over, a book for anyone coping with a challenging life transition.
