What is Executive & Transition Coaching?
Coaching is a creative process that helps individuals realize their internal strengths, expand their capacity and ultimately gain clarity, reach stretch goals and become more effective human beings.
Coaching develops out of a coaching relationship. Coaching is a process of examining vision and values and determining the inner strengths of individuals or organizations to achieve the changes that they want. This can be a transformative process in creating a new expanded future.
This process takes place through conversations with a coach and the resulting inner work that a client completes to discover their sense of purpose or calling. Effective coaching helps to unleash vitality, passion and purpose and then helps integrate these qualities into a client or organization’s life.
The Coaching Process
People in the world today rarely have time to turn off the ‘busyness noise’ long enough to allow for growth and development for the future they want to create. Coaching provides structured time to allow for growth, development, problem solving and planning to create the desired future. Using The Hudson Institute models and tools, the coach helps the client discover and make plans for new options that the client and coach co-create. This process usually involves expanding the client’s capacity to take effective action.
Coaching in its simplest term is helping the client determine what they really want and helping them achieve it.
